Board of Education Announces Two Finalists for Interim Superintendent of Dorchester County Public Schools


The Board of Education of Dorchester County has announced the names of two finalists for the Interim Superintendent of Schools.


The finalists, in alphabetical order:
• W. David Bromwell, Jr. - Mr. Bromwell is a native of Dorchester County and a graduate of C-SDHS, class of 1983. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education and his Master of Arts in Education Administration from Salisbury University. He is working on his Doctor of Education in Innovation from Wilmington University. Mr. Bromwell is currently the Principal of Cambridge-South Dorchester High School and has worked in the Dorchester County Public School system from 1988 to the present in the capacities of teacher, dean of students at both high schools, assistant principal at both high schools, and principal at both high schools.


• Lisa Hopkins - Mrs. Hopkins is a resident of Wicomico County. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Science & Secondary Education, and a Master of Education Administration in Supervision and Administration from Salisbury University. She is working on her Doctorate in Education Leadership from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Mrs. Hopkins is currently employed by the Caroline County Public Schools as the Director of Instruction. She served as Supervisor of Secondary Education for the Dorchester County Public Schools from 2013-2017 and worked in the Somerset County Public Schools as a Director and Supervisor from 1990-2013.
