2016 Superintendent's Holiday Card Slideshow

2016 is the third year that Dorchester County Public Schools has held the Superintendent’s Holiday Card Contest. Students from across the school district in grades K-12 create and submit works of art with a holiday theme that are considered for the cover artwork for Dr. Wagner’s holiday card. This year’s winner from Cambridge-South Dorchester High School, sophomore Kimberly Larimer, submitted a Maryland-themed holiday blue crab holding lights on a trotline. This image is both representative of our county and our holiday traditions. All student winners will be publicly recognized with their artwork at the January 19th meeting of the Board…

Student Cell Phone Procedures

With respect to student cell phone procedures, the Board reviewed the recommendation of the Policy Subcommittee and heard additional testimony from student leadership before approving the latest draft for first reading. The policy is available for review. Please download the policy below.
Dorchester Educators is proud to announce that Andre’ Beulah who was selected as Dorchester Educators ESP of the year in May of 2016 was just chosen as Maryland State Education Associations (MSEA’s) ESP of the year. Last day of School

The Board of Education has approved our recommendation to adjust the calendar for Thursday, June 9, 2016. Specifically, that day will be an early dismissal for students and a full day for staff.

Announcement from Food Services

The Food Service Department would like to remind all parents and guardians that students with negative meal accounts will not be able to charge meals after May 13, 2016. The Cafeterias will continue to accept cash, checks and meal payments at WWW.myschoolbucks.com until the last day of school.
