Unpaid Meal Charges

The Dorchester County Public School Food Service Department is responsible for maintaining all student’s meal accounts in accordance with USDA and the State of Maryland regulations. The USDA and the State of Maryland requires that all local educational agencies provide information to the community households on unpaid school meal accounts. Dorchester County Public School Food Services sends weekly letters home to parents when their children have a negative balance on meal accounts. Board of Education Announces Three Finalists for Superintendent of Dorchester County Public Schools The Board of Education of Dorchester County has announced the names of three finalists for the next Dorchester County Superintendent of Schools. Each of the finalists will participate in a “Day in the District” next week. After an orientation and preparation meeting on Thursday, April 26, members of the stakeholder focus groups will participate in interviewing the finalists.
