NDHS Students Win Essay Contest
Two North Dorchester High School seniors walked away with the top prizes in the recent Martin Luther King, Jr. Essay Contest held at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center.
Devone Williams, a senior and a member of the school’s Gentlemen’s Club, won first place. Trinity Cephas, also a senior, and part of Making HERstory/Chick-fil-A Leader Academy, picked up the second-place trophy.
The essay contest was part of the Martin Luther King, Jr. 34th Annual Youth Activity hosted by the Salisbury High School Association.
