C-SDHS Students Deliver Holiday Cheer
Students from Ms. Deshinna Nichols’ AVID and Integrated Math classes spent time last week bringing pre-holiday cheer in the community.
The Cambridge-South Dorchester High School students visited Delmarva Community Services where they distributed holiday cards and assisted DCS clients in creating Christmas trees using pinecones. They then went to Maple Elementary School where they spent time working with kindergarten students in helping them make a Christmas craft.
Dr. Michael Collins, Supervisor of Mathematics and AVID District Director, said, “Both the students and community that was served enjoyed this opportunity and the students want to thank all of those who made this special day of community service possible.”
