Administrative Appointments and Transfers Announced

We are pleased to announce the following administrative appointment that was approved by the Board of Education on Thursday, March 19, 2020, which will become effective July 1, 2020.

• Director of Student Services – J. Kirkland Howie, Sr.

We are pleased to announce the following administrative transfers:

• Principal, North Dorchester High School – Kermit Hines (currently Principal, Dorchester Career and Technology Center) – Effective July 1, 2020.

• Science, Health and Physical Education Supervisor – Dr. Paula Turner (currently Principal, North Dorchester High School) - Effective July 1, 2020.

The following transfer was effective March 16, 2020

• Assistant Principal, Sandy Hill Elementary School – Darnell Yates (currently Assistant Principal, Hurlock Elementary School – Effective March 16, 2020
