My name is Kawana Webb, I have been the School Social Worker at Choptank Elementary School since November 2012.  I look forward to serving your children, you and the community.  The following description of school social work services comes directly from School Social Worker Association of America:

School social work is a specialized area of practice within a broad field of the social work profession.  School social workers bring unique knowledge and skills to the school system and the system and the student services team.  School social workers are instrumental in furthering the purpose of the schools: to provide a setting for teaching, learning, and for the attainment of competence and confidence.

What that really means is that I will do all that I can do to help you and your children have a positive school year.
