NDHS Holds Honor Society Induction

Thirty-seven North Dorchester High School Juniors and Seniors were inducted into the school’s chapter of the National Honor Society at a ceremony at the school on Friday, October 22, 2021.

The Honor Society inductees were:  Landon Abey, Evencia Amazan, Brando Banda-Perez, Jasmin Beasley, Hope Benjamin, Avlynn Bennett, Jaelyn Byrd, Karis Diggs, Julia Dyer, Caitlyn Hooper, Anna Hopkins, Madison Horsman, Ryleigh Hutson, Abigail Jarrell, Paige Jester, Milan Jiggetts, Matthew Kimball, Harlie Knox, Cole Ledger, Adrienne Martin, Amira Martin, Ariel Montgomery, Nathaniel Murphy, Olivia Nossick, Axel Piasecki, Allison Price, Brianna Purnell, Leonardo Ramirez, Emilie Schanken, Melissa Sullivan, Madeline Toadvine, Alison Todd, Jason Verduzco-Zavala, Sydney Weir, Madisyn White, Dakota Williams, and Christopher Wolfe Jr.

To qualify for membership, students must carry at least a 3.7 weighted Grade Point Average, have no discipline infractions, and answer a set of questions aligned with leadership, service, and character that are reviewed by a team of the school’s teachers.

The NDHS Honor Society staff advisor is Ms. Linda Barnes. Senior Curstin Carpenter is the chapter president.
