The DCPS Library-Media Department provides access to information, promotes and teaches information literacy, and fosters reading as a lifelong activity for learning and for enjoyment.

The vision of the DCPS Library Media Department is to produce students who are principled researchers and seekers of knowledge who engage with information through a variety of media and technology.
