The vision for science in the Dorchester County Public School System is to design learning opportunities where students are constantly using the Science and Engineering Practices to figure out why or how to ensure all students are prepared to excel in STEM careers.

The science mission of the Dorchester County Public School system is to constantly improve district curriculum, instruction, and assessments by using professional development, instructional feedback, and the acquisition of resources to ensure the instruction in every science classroom positions students to take ownership of their learning.
