On Friday, March 7, 2025, the Office of School Safety hosted vital training with the "I Love You Guys" Foundation on the Standard Response Protocol (SRP) and the Standard Reunification Method. This training focused on critical incident management and enhancing our reunification process in the event of a crisis.

A uniform practiced response is key to a safe school and community. The SRP is action-based and flexible, providing a clear implementation plan for various emergencies, from severe weather events to intruders.

Developed through collaboration with first responders and experts, the SRP uses clear vocabulary, ensuring that everyone understands the response process, no matter the situation. This continuity benefits students, staff, and first responders alike, enabling quick and effective action during crises.

Remember, crisis recovery starts with a plan. A practiced reunification method helps to streamline certainty and ease anxiety during emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of our students. Together, we can create a safer environment for all! Stay tuned for more! #SchoolSafety #SRP #CommunityFirst
