While it’s great being man’s best friend, it’s even better to be EVERYONE’S best friend! That’s what good girl Luna thinks - she’s enthusiastic about everyone she meets at North Dorchester High School. Luna joined the school’s SRO, Deputy Logan Hallowell, in November and is very much enjoying the attention, head rubs, and ear-scratches from doggy-loving students and staff alike! #AllPawsOnDeckDCPS

The DCTC chapter of SkillsUSA has ‘adopted’ MidShore Meals til Monday this school year, supporting the organization financially and practically. Last week Skills members delivered food items contributed by students and staff at DCTC as well as Skills chapters throughout Maryland who heeded the DCTC chapter’s call for food donations at the SkillsUSA’s Maryland Fall Leadership Conference in November. As a result of the chapter’s own Fall fundraising initiatives, they were also able to make a monetary contribution. Meals til Monday works hard to combat childhood hunger in Dorchester County, with a focus on take-home weekend meals for Dorchester County Public Schools students, and we’re proud that our SkillsUSA members are giving back! #AllHandsOnDeckDCPS
