A local business owner who will be opening Pine Street Community Market, came to DCTC today to meet with Culinary Arts students to inform them of available employment opportunities. Career Coach Shay Lewis-Sisco and CTE Teachers, Mr. Insley & Mr. Perry collaborated to welcome Coulton Trevey from AllRoads to share information about their summer paid internship opportunity with our Medium/Heavy Truck and Automotive Technology students.

This week in our PLTW Biomed and Medical Services speaker series, we had Aymee Fonseca Gonsalez a labor and delivery nurse at Easton Memorial and Justin Hoxter and Kyle Cole with Dorchester Ems.

Sienna Mitchell is in our Interactive Media program. She shares, "What I love about my program is that I have the ability to be creative. We learn how to use photoshop. I'm hoping to use the skills that I have gained here to get to my future career of becoming an animator." #CTEawarenessmonth


These culinary students shared, "We love culinary because we love Chef Zinnel! She is very passionate about her work and that makes us passionate. We are looking forward to cooking for future events in the community as we advance in the Culinary Arts program. Cooking is a life-long skill that we are grateful to learn." #CTEawarenessmonth
