PhotoShare! Students, staff, parents, and others can take pictures at school events or even around school campus and do one of two things to share pictures with the yearbook staff:
Scan the QR code attached in the photo to be directed to PhotoShare website. Students will be asked to enter their name, grade level, and email address. I highly recommend entering a personal email address since the school email address does not work .
Click on the attached link to be directed to PhotoShare website and upload photos .
https://photos.jostens.com/J94QRH
Students/staff will have the opportunity to tag all who are in the pictures sent to yearbook staff. Once we receive the pictures, we will review the pictures and sort them into categories on the yearbook website to be included in the yearbook!

Look for a report with current reading ability coming home with semester 1 Corrective Reading and English class scholars the week of September 29th. Please speak to your scholar’s teacher if you have questions, concerns, or would like ideas for how to support literacy.
Five Tips for Supporting Literacy at Home:
~Encourage summer IXL practice which can be done on cellphones and reading.
~Read in the home, even reading cooking instructions and other practical items or product labels count.
~Reply to one another’s text messages in complete sentences with punctuation and capitalization. (Bragging rights for being an editor and fixing other people’s errors.)
~Watch media with closed captions turned on.
~Go to the public library or check out books from the school library.

We also want to extend our gratitude to the local organizations and businesses that participated in the vendor event, providing families with valuable information about the resources available in our community. Together, we’re building a stronger support network for our students and families! 💙📚 #NDHSBackToSchool #CommunityStrong #ThankYou
