Several students at NDMS had their dreams come true, today, when they were able to drive a tractor! Local Farmer, Matt Taylor, volunteered his time and equipment, to allow students a real chance at being a farmer for a day. Students asked great questions, honked the horn, and even got a special John Deere Sponsored hat. Our students smiles are priceless and remind us what education is really about! Thank you Matt Taylor for supporting our student's dreams. Also, thank you Ms. Flack for always going above and beyond for your students.

The month of October is Principal's Appreciation month. Did you know that NDMS' Principal Evans was awarded by Coastal magazine the Top Principal in the tri-county area? We would prefer to say in the Universe! That is why on Tuesday, North Dorchester Middle School thanked Mr. Vaughn Evans for his exceptional leadership and unwavering support. Thomas Family Catering, what a delicious salad bar. Mr. Evans, your dedication and hard work have made our school an excellent workplace. We hope that your influence will continue to guide us in the future.
“Real education means to inspire people to live more abundantly, to learn to begin with life as they find it and make it better.” Carter G. Woodson
