Wow! Did we have an exciting day at NDMS! Today we hosted the Kona Ice Bus and honored 250 students that achieved 3's and 4's on MCAP last school year. Many of the students awarded scored 3's and 4's on multiple MCAP test. We first stopped our bus at NDHS to celebrate the 9th graders from our school. Next stop was the Home of the OWLS. We even had a guest appearance from Hurlock's Principal Dawn Corkran. We look forward to celebrating even more kids next year as we run hard to be the 15th best county in the state of MARYLAND. Special thanks to our staff and feeder schools that poured into our students to help them achieve this milestone.

On October 22, 2024, the Administration team of NDMS attended the The Dorchester Elks Lodge # 223. The members of the Lodge graciously awarded several organizations in Dorchester County with a monetary donation to further their efforts. We are humbled to have been selected for this wonderful donation so that we can continue to offer afterschool activities, curricular and college based field trips and to provide incentives for students at NDMS. NDMS is so fortunate to have the Elks Lodge # 223 as a community partner and also look forward to networking with the other organizations we met that evening. Thank you for supporting our mission. Together we can DO MORE and BE MORE. #23DCPSnomore
